Specialist service

When a camera can't show it, we build it in 3D.

3D product animation, CGI commercials and photoreal renders for technology and product brands: products that aren't manufactured yet, internals a camera can't reach, and camera moves no set allows.

How we work

Built from data. Lit like a film.

CGI is where the studio's roots are. We model the product accurately, build physically based materials that match your finishes, and light and move the camera the way a film crew would.

We work from engineering data — CAD, specification sheets and reference photos — and build review points into the schedule, so dimensions, materials and features are right before final rendering.

Studio renders

Real materials. Real light. No camera.

Every image here is a render: products modelled in 3D, lit in a virtual studio and rendered with physically based materials.

What we make

Four ways to put a product on screen.

One production pipeline, from the first styleframe to the final render.

  1. Film camera · 360° turntable3D render

    01 · 3D product animation

    Show how it works.

Reveals, exploded views and feature demonstrations built from your product data. Complex hardware, understood in seconds.

    • Hero animation, typically 15–90 seconds
    • Exploded-view and feature sequences
    • 9:16 and 1:1 social cutdowns
    • Seamless loops for websites and retail screens
  2. 3D render of a silver boombox with its aerial raised on a dark glossy floor, rim-lit in violet and magenta.

    02 · CGI advertising

    Commercials without a film set.

Full CGI commercials where the product can do what a camera can't — directed, animated, rendered and finished in one studio.

    • 15-, 30- and 60-second commercials
    • Social cutdowns in 9:16, 1:1 and 16:9
    • Styleframes and campaign key visuals
    • Masters to your media specifications
  3. 3D render of three engraved brass goblets on a glossy magenta studio floor.

    03 · Product visualization

    One digital twin. Every image.

Photoreal stills with accurate materials and deliberate light — every angle, colourway and variant from a single master.

    • High-resolution stills
    • E-commerce angle sets
    • Colourway and variant sets
    • 360° turntables for product pages
  4. 3D render of a portable cassette player and a cassette on a dark studio floor, rim-lit in violet.

    04 · Tech product commercials

    Launch films for engineered products.

Films for GPUs, audio, peripherals, monitors and e-bikes, built around the engineering inside rather than a spec sheet.

    • Launch and keynote films
    • Feature explainers for product pages
    • Retail and event-screen loops
    • Campaign stills from the same scenes

What we need to start

Inputs that make a good first call.

  • Product data

CAD or 3D files, or detailed photos with dimensions.

  • Finish references

Colour, material and finish references, plus logo files.

  • The message

The features and messages to show, in priority order.

  • The plan

Where the visuals will run, the formats you need and your launch date.

How a CGI project runs

Discovery to delivery.

  1. Step 01

    Discovery

We learn the product, the audience, the launch plan and every place the visuals need to run.

  2. Step 02

    Concept

References, storyboards and styleframes set the creative direction before anything is animated.

  3. Step 03

    Look development

Models, materials and lighting are built and approved on key frames, so the look is locked early.

  4. Step 04

    Animation

Camera and product motion are blocked, reviewed and refined against the storyboard.

  5. Step 05

    Rendering

Final frames are rendered in passes, then composited and colour graded.

  6. Step 06

    Final delivery

Masters and cutdowns exported for every screen and platform in the plan.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

What do you need from us to start a CGI project?

CAD or STEP files are ideal. If they aren't available, detailed photos, dimensions, material references and physical samples can work. After reviewing your brief we'll tell you exactly what's needed.

Can you create visuals before the product physically exists?

Yes — CGI is widely used for pre-launch campaigns. With accurate CAD data and material references we can produce films and stills before samples are available.

When is CGI a better choice than a live-action shoot?

When the product isn't manufactured yet, when you need to show internal components or impossible camera moves, or when you want total control of light and environment. For people-led stories, live action or a hybrid can work better — we'll say so honestly.

How long does a CGI project take?

It depends on scope. A set of product stills needs far less time than a full commercial with custom environments. Every proposal includes a schedule with review milestones.

How much does CGI advertising cost?

Cost depends on duration, the number of products and shots, environment complexity and the deliverables you need. Choose a budget range on the enquiry form and we'll propose a scope that fits it.

Who owns the final visuals?

Usage rights and ownership are agreed in writing in each proposal, so you know exactly how the final visuals can be used before production starts.
